BRUNSWICK | A woman killed Sunday when her bicycle was struck by a work truck at the top of a bridge on the St. Simon Island causeway was training for a ride in Tennessee later this month, a family friend said.
Susan “Suze” Kilner, 36, was struck from behind on the MacKay River bridge about 12:45 p.m. as she and her husband, Troy, rode their bicycles west on the 4-mile-long causeway. Gary Arlen Holland Jr., 30, who is suspected of driving the truck, was located about 1 1/2 hours later in the Cox Community in McIntosh County, police said.
