BRUNSWICK, GA. | At 228 years old, Glynn Academy is Georgia’s second oldest public high school.
The venerable old school celebrated something far younger Friday; the 20th anniversary of the Marine Junior ROTC program at the school.
It fell to a color guard of cadet Staff Sgt. Caleb Fiveash, Second Lt. Sean Sparre and Cpl. Grace Carlyle to raise the U.S. and Georgia flags at 8 a.m. while their fellow cadets stood at attention in their camouflage uniforms.
But a lot of people in civilian clothes helped.
