The shrimp will be fried and boiled and the locomotive will be steam in St. Marys Saturday at the annual Rock Shrimp Festival.
The Kiwanis Club of St. Marys’ annual festival starts with 5- and 10-kilometer races at 7:30 a.m. and the arts, crafts and food vendors open their booths at 9 a.m.
The floats, marching groups, tractors, golf carts and fire trucks will trundle down Osborne Road starting at 10 a.m. for the annual parade. From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., the rock shrimp dinners with boiled shrimp, fried fish, slaw and hush puppies will be served.
