BRUNSWICK | A Glynn County man arrested Sunday morning after a nine-hour standoff with police is now charged with aggravated assault, battery and false imprisonment, Glynn County jail records show.
The standoff began about 10 p.m. Sunday night after Glynn County police were told a man was holding his wife against her will at a residence in a rural area of the country.
Cynthia Huff was allowed to leave the house about 4:15 a.m. Sunday after Glynn County police Lt. Ricky Evans and Sgt. Resdin Talbert had negotiated with the man for more than six hours.
