An Alma woman was killed early Saturday morning when she walked into the path of a vehicle on U.S. 1 north of the city, the Georgia State Patrol said.
Tiffany Adams, 30, had walked across three travel lanes and a turning lane of U.S. 1 about 12:05 a.m. when she was struck by a 2012 Honda CRV in the outside northbound lane, the state patrol said.
